Be The Dads Group — We don’t have to be perfect dads. We can be dads who grow together.

Being a dad is one of the greatest responsibilities God gives us—and none of us has it all figured out.

Be The Dads is a community for dads who want to grow, connect, encourage one another, and discover what it looks like to be the dads God created us to be.

Whether you’re a new dad, a young dad, an older dad, a stepdad, foster dad, adoptive dad, or somewhere in the middle, there’s a place for you here.

You don’t have to be a perfect dad.
You don’t have to have all the answers.
You don’t even have to know God yet.

Just come.

What We Do

We meet Tuesday evenings during Youth Church at Eastridge.

We start by connecting with one another—catching up, getting to know new dads, welcoming everyone, and having some fun together.

Then we “dadify the sermon.”

We take what we heard in the weekend message and ask:

What does this look like for us as dads?

How can we take God’s Word and put it into practice in our homes, in our marriages, and in the way we lead and love our kids?

We talk honestly, learn from one another, encourage one another, and look for practical ways to live out what God is teaching us.

We finish by sharing prayer requests and praise reports and praying for one another.

No preparation is required. Come as you are.

Why Be The Dads?

God has placed a calling on every dad to lead, love, serve, protect, teach, and encourage his family.

That doesn’t mean we do it alone.

The Bible reminds us that we are meant to encourage one another, learn from one another, and help each other grow.

Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.”

1 Thessalonians 5:11 reminds us to “encourage each other and build each other up.”

And Deuteronomy 6:6–7 reminds fathers and parents that God’s truth is meant to become part of everyday life with our children.

Be The Dads is about helping one another do exactly that.

Not by pretending we have it all together, but by walking the journey together.

When We Meet

Come Be The Dads With Us

Maybe fatherhood is going great right now.

Maybe it’s hard.

Maybe there’s a lot that isn’t going the way it was hoped.

Maybe there’s wisdom to share from years of experience.

Or maybe there’s a lot that still needs to be learned.

Whatever season of fatherhood you’re in, you are welcome.

Come connect.
Come learn.
Come encourage.
Come be encouraged.
Come pray.

Come join us Tuesday nights so we can all be the dads together.

Have questions? Don’t hesitate to reach out directly. I’d be glad to talk, answer questions, or simply connect.
