For the remaining two days we will be going through the devotional titled “What The Father Says“. In the description, there is a powerful thought that makes me excited to get to go through it and see what we can learn. It speaks to God’s love, the Father’s love towards us and how it is “more numerous than the sands of the shore“, how each of us is “His beloved child“, and how “He is pleased with you!” I’m excited to get to spend the next three days with you looking to grasp and share God as “the perfect, stunning nature of your heavenly Father.” I’m excited to get to explore with you how “in His love, there is no striving and no fear, for you are in the palm of His hand.“
Let’s check out our scriptures for today’s devotional lesson:
‘When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.” ‘
Luke 3:21-22
‘ “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. ‘
John 15:5
God’s Word provides us with knowledge and as we meditate on it and study it with the Holy Spirit we gain wisdom to be able to apply it to our lives. Let’s be the dads who apply God’s Word in our lives so that when we come to the end of our lives we will get to hear God say “well done” and that He is pleased with us. Let’s be the dads who are focused on doing the will of the Father in our and for our lives! Let’s be the dads who choose to live connected to Jesus and allow Him to flow into and through us so that we are able to produce good fruit! Let’s be the dads who choose to remain in Jesus! Let’s be the dads who in so doing produce not only much fruit but good fruit! Let’s be the dads who produce the fruit of the Spirit in our lives like: ‘love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.’ Let’s be the dads who choose to stick to and stick with Jesus because we know that in and through Him, all things are possible! Let’s be the dads who choose to stick to and stick with Jesus because we know that apart from Him, we can do nothing!

- “The late Billy Graham once said, “Although I have much to be grateful for as I look back over my life, I also have many regrets.
