As we start today, let’s grab hold of the promise of God. Do you realize the benefits we can find in God’s Word? Have you ever considered and accepted the promises found in God’s Word? Are you living in the promises of God’s Word today knowing it is the path to eternity?

The Promise from John 5:24

Those who listen to My message and believe in God who sent Me have eternal life.

Today’s Verse of the Day:

“I assure you and most solemnly say to you, the person who hears My word [the one who heeds My message], and believes and trusts in Him who sent Me, has (possesses now) eternal life [that is, eternal life actually begins—the believer is transformed], and does not come into judgment and condemnation, but has passed [over] from death into life.

John 5:24 AMP

Therefore, let’s be the dads who make time and take time to listen and meditate on God’s Word, heeding His message. Furthermore, let’s be the dads who believe and trust in Jesus because we know He was sent by the Father. Finally, let’s be the dads who cling to the promise of possessing eternal life because we have been transformed by believing and it will keep us from the judgment and condemnation of death but instead are choosing to step into eternal life.

So how can we put today’s verse of the day into practice? How can we receive and choose to live in the promise that will be a blessing to our wives, kids, and world?

Applications of John 5:24 towards stepping up and stepping into the promise of God towards eternal life:
