Response or Reflex: Your kids need you now more than ever!

Firstly, to be responsive, where have you invested your time and energy? Additionally, will you react with impulse or thoughtfulness when the need arises? Will it be a response or a reflex? Furthermore, do you recognize the challenges in today’s world and what your children must face? As a result, they require our support more than ever, so let’s step up and help them transform their difficulties into opportunities. Furthermore, will you stand firm for what you believe, so they don’t compromise for everything? For example, are you vigilant and ready to be there for them at any moment? Let’s ensure we have our priorities straight.

To react instinctively, be persistent in prayer. Stay attuned to the Holy Spirit and focused on loved ones. To respond effectively, know God’s voice through spending time in His Word. Be ready and attentive. Be alert and focused in prayer for our loved ones. Ensure readiness by maintaining vigilance. Therefore, let’s take steps to prepare through prayer. Express gratitude and connect deeply with God.

So what can we do to use today’s verse of the day to be ready and apply it to our lives as dads?

Ways to apply today’s verse of the day to how we react when our families are in need:

  • Devote ourselves to prayer:
    • We should make prayer a priority and devote time each day to pray for our families.
