Safety and security are things that we need to provide for our wives and kids by being the dads God created us to be and models for us. Are you ready to be the dad who provides shelter for your wives and kids by keeping them under the protection of God? Will you take hold of God’s promises of protection so you can be the dads God created and purposed for you to be? Model for your wives and kids how to find rest and abide in the Lord so that they too can have the peace, safety, and security that come from and through it!
Today’s Verse of the Day:
Let’s be the dads who choose safety and security by:
- firstly, dwelling in the shelter of the Most High
- furthermore, resting in the shadow of the Almighty whose power no enemy can withstand
- inviting God to be our refuge and our fortress
- declaring that God is our God, whom we trust with great confidence
- therefore, relying on God
Let’s seek to find ways to take today’s verse of the day and put it into practice as dads!
Applications of today’s verse of the day:
- Seek the Lord daily – “Start your day by spending time in prayer and reading the Bible. Seek God’s guidance and strength to help you through the day.”
- Trust in God’s protection – “Believe that God is always watching over you and your family and that He will protect you from harm.”
- Speak words of faith – “Speak words of faith and encouragement over your family. Proclaim God’s promises and blessings over your children.”
- Lead by example – “Model a life of faith for your children. Let them see you reading the Bible, praying, and living out your faith in practical ways.”
- Encourage your family to seek God – “Encourage your family to seek God in their own lives. Teach them to pray and read the Bible, and help them grow in their faith.”
- Create a home of peace – “Foster an atmosphere of peace and love in your home. Let your children know that they are loved and accepted and that they can come to you with anything.”
- Teach your children to trust in God – “Teach your children to trust in God for their protection and safety. Help them memorize scripture and pray together as a family.”
- Be vigilant and proactive – “Be proactive in protecting your family from harm. Make wise choices when it comes to safety, and be vigilant in keeping your family safe.”
- Stand firm in faith – “Stand firm in your faith and trust in God, even in the face of adversity. Let your children see your unwavering faith and trust in God.”
- Give thanks to God – “Give thanks to God for His protection and provision. Let your children see you give thanks to God, and teach them to be grateful for all that God has done for your family.”
