Are you weary and looking for help? Feeling sorrowful and needing hope? Do you feel like you are languishing and looking for a way to make progress, move forward and find success? Where do you turn when you are weary, languishing, or sorrowful?
We need to turn to God and remember His promises!
Today’s Verse:
So let’s remember God has given us His Word so that we can build our lives upon it! God inspired the entire Bible and so we can depend upon it! God’s Word isn’t just a good read or good ideas, they are God’s ideas and authoritative! So let’s choose to build our lives upon God’s Word, His love letter to us, and turn to Him when we need help, hope, and direction!
God doesn’t want us to go it alone which is why when Jesus return to heaven, He sent the Holy Spirit! God loves us so much and doesn’t want us to be wandering all alone that He gave His one and only Son that whosoever would believe on Him would not perish but have everlasting life! God also gave us one another for where two or more are gathered, He is with us! God gave us one another because ‘Two are better than one because they have a more satisfying return for their labor; for if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and does not have another to lift him up. Again, if two lie down together, then they keep warm; but how can one be warm alone? And though one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. ‘ (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12)
Where do you turn?
