Feeling the pressure of trying to be a good husband? Feeling the pressure of becoming a dad? Feeling the pressure of raising kids and being a dad? Is it getting heavy?
Do you know what to do when things start to feel heavy? Do you realize you aren’t supposed to carry that weight all alone? Do you realize the importance of coming together as men to help one another? Do you realize the importance of leaning in on other men for wisdom and support? Do you realize we need to come together to support, encourage, and move forward together? Do you realize that God never intended you to go through this alone? God doesn’t want you to have to carry that weight on your own but rather would have you cast your cares upon Him because He cares for you! Do you realize that God’s plan is for us to be alert and of sober mind because our enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour? Do you realize that as the devil tries to overwhelm us and cause fear, God is calling us to resist the devil, standing firm in the faith, because we know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of suffering?
So as we begin this day, we aren’t to go it alone! Let’s grab a hold of today’s verse of the day and apply it as we prepare and step into all today will bring our way!
‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’ ‘
Isaiah 41:10
Let’s be the dads who do not fear anything because we are walking our days out with God! Let’s be the dads who are not afraid because we know who our God is! Let’s be the dads who lean in on God trusting that He will strengthen us! Let’s walk in the confidence that God will help us! Let’s be the dads who choose to have a relationship with God and allow Jesus to take hold of us with His righteous right hand with power, justice, victory, and salvation within it!
It’s a new day, a new week, fear not God is with you, do not be dismayed, trust God!
