As I awoke this morning to my watch alarm (which I am usually already up for 2 hours by then) I am still feeling sick. Scripture from Today’s Devotional:
So rather than just basing our decision or answer to the question above on what the dictionary says, let’s take a look at what God’s Word tells us in scripture! God’s Word will never return void! God’s Word will help cut through the noise and the distraction and get to the core of the matter! Let’s break free from sin and the temptations of the devil and find victory by the blood of the lamb and the words of our testimony.
Let’s be the dads who stand firm on the rock of Jesus Christ and allow Him to keep us aligned as our cornerstone for life! Let’s be the dads who lean in on God more because we realize that judgment is coming to the world because of stumbling blocks and temptations to sin! Let’s be the dads who are leaning in and trusting God to help us from falling into temptation and helps us from being the cause or reason for why other get tripped up! Let’s be the dads who aren’t the cause of stumbling blocks in others’ lives! It is inevitable that stumbling blocks come, but woe to the person on whose account or through whom the stumbling block comes! Let’s be the dads who are looking to remove anything that is causing us to stumble into sin! Let’s be the dads who are choosing to live our lives overcoming the temptations and stumbling blocks of sin in our lives! Let’s be the dads who are choosing to live their lives in a way that won’t cause others to stumble into sin! Let’s be the dads who are choosing to live our lives in a way that won’t cause our wives or our kids to stumble into sin and end up in the fiery pit of hell.
