3-Days of Choosing Peace – Day 2

Today’s a day after a humble experience where leaders asked to wash our feet. Leaders need to be filled with and have an experience with God to be able to overflow through us and serve others. It was a moment of reflection, introspection, humility, and feeling uncomfortable. But as John 13 shares about the experience of Jesus washing the feet of His disciples, we need to experience to get it, we need to experience it to understand it, we need to experience it to be able to do it. So as we start today, let’s be the dad who choose to grab hold of God’s commands and promises.

Let’s take a moment to pause and reflect on the goodness of God before we tart into our Day 2 of this devotional.

Scripture for Today’s Devotional:

God’s Word is a place to go, a place to stay, and a place to receive. God’s Word is a love letter written to you and me to know who God is, God’s character, God’s plans, God’s purposes, and God’s promises. So let’s allow God to fill us up to overflowing so that we can then pour into and serve others!

Let’s be the dads who remain pliable and moldable in God’s hands! Let’s be the dads who are pursuing God, God’s plans, God’s purposes, and God’s promises! Let’s be the dads who live as God’s handiwork, God’s workmanship! Let’s be the dads who believe God and don’t allow lies of the devil to gate us tripped up! Let’s be the dads who obey Gods’ Word rather than getting tripped up! Let’s be the dads who receive the reality, the promises, and the offering of Jesus rather than walking in offense, disobedience, and disbelief and finding ourselves stumbling through life! Let’s be the dads who believe that Jesus was part of creation! Let’s be the dads who believe that it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and in and for Him!
