Firstly, as we begin today who realizes the path that we choose matters? Therefore, walk in the way and you will reap the rewards and benefits. Additionally, choosing unwisely a different path and deal with the consequences and harm. Furthermore, God’s given us His Word to be a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path so we can know the way.
Rewards when we walk in the way:
In this world, we will undoubtedly encounter troubles. However, as we walk in the way, we can take heart because Jesus has overcome the world!
While it’s true that we will face trials and temptations of various kinds, we are instructed to consider it pure joy. This is because, whenever we encounter trials of many kinds, we understand that the testing of our faith produces perseverance. Furthermore, we recognize the importance of letting perseverance finish its work so that we can become mature and complete, lacking nothing.
In every situation, there’s no need for anxiety. Through prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, we can confidently present our requests to God.
Today’s Verse of the Day:
Surely goodness and mercy and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, And I shall dwell forever [throughout all my days] in the house and in the presence of the LORD.
Psalms 23:6 AMP
Firstly, let’s be the dads who choose to walk in the way of the Lord believing goodness and mercy and unfailing love will follow us all the days of our lives! Secondly, let’s be the dads who walk in the way because we are sure in faith that we will dwell forever, through our days on earth and into eternity, in the house and in the presence of the Lord! Thirdly, let’s be the dads who choose to receive and follow Jesus because we know that He is the way, the truth, and the life and that through Him we are saved and will live through eternity with God!
How can we apply today’s verse of the day towards being the dads God created us to be to meet the needs of our wives and kids? What can we do to walk in the way of God and in His promises and blessings?
