Are you feeling down? Turn to God and ask for His perspective! Are you feeling discouraged? Turn to God and ask for His perspective! Are you feeling sad? Turn to God and ask for His perspective! For example, perspective is the key to helping us move forward and live without discouragement! Similarly, perspective allows us to realize that God is bigger than anything that we will ever face! Finally, perspective gives us hope to praise God through it all!

Consider your perspective as you meditate on today's verse of the day:

WHY AM I DISCOURAGED?
WHY IS MY HEART SAD?
I WILL PUT MY HOPE IN GOD!
PSALMS 42:11

Today’s Verse of the Day:

Why are you in despair, O my soul? Why have you become restless and disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.

Psalms 42:11 AMP

Firstly, let’s be the dads who turn to God’s Word as our source and foundation for a living! Secondly, when we start to feel despair, let’s turn to God and ask Him for wisdom, discernment, and direction to help us get out of it! Thirdly, when we start to feel restless and disquieted, let’s pause and pray so we can hear the Word of God and allow the Holy Spirit to bring peace that surpasses all understanding to guard our hearts and minds! Finally, let’s be the dads who find our hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, praising Him through it all because we know He is good and we can trust Him! Let’s be the dads with an ongoing commitment to align our thoughts and actions with God’s purpose for us!

So how can we put into practice what we learn in today’s verse of the day? What can we do to be the dads God created and purposed for us to be in the application of today’s verse of the day? Let’s pause and reflect on it and consider how we can apply it to our lives!

Applications of Psalms 42:11 to having the right perspective so we can be the dads God created, planned, and purposes for us to be for our wives, kids, and world!
