As today begins and we feel the pressures of the world, let’s put on the full armor of God and stand firm! Let’s be focused on the good works of God that He has prepared in advance for us to accomplish!
Verse of the Day:
‘Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord [always doing your best and doing more than is needed], being continually aware that your labor [even to the point of exhaustion] in the Lord is not futile nor wasted [it is never without purpose].’
1 Corinthians 15:58
Let’s be the dads who choose to always excel in the work of God! Let’s be the dads who choose to always be doing our best for His sake and His glory! Let’s be the dads who choose to always be doing more than is needed so that He will receive the praise, the honor, and the glory! Let’s be the dads who choose to work as unto the Lord for all authority has been put into place by Him! Let’s be the dads who remember and are continually aware that our labor even to the point of exhaustion in the Lord is not futile nor wasted it is never without purpose. Let’s be the dads who put all our hope and trust in the Lord for we know that ‘those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] will gain new strength and renew their power; they will lift up their wings and rise up close to God like eagles rising toward the sun; they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not grow tired.’ (Isaiah 40:31)
So as we begin today, let’s not grow weary in doing good works for the glory of God! Let’s stand firm and be about the work of the Lord in all that we think, say, and do!
