Ever had some highs throughout your life? Ever discovered that there are challenges when it comes to success? The challenges of pride or arrogance try to come up and come out when you hit those highs when you make it!

Ever had some lows throughout your life? Ever found yourself fighting sadness, bitterness, anger, and unforgiveness? We need to remember and turn to God in those times and grab hold of what He says to do and then we will be able to make it because we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us!

So no matter what you are facing right here and right now, let’s be the dads who turn to God and put our trust in the reality that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us! Let’s be the dads who build our lives on the Word of God so that we have a solid foundation where bitter roots can’t take root and when the storms, the troubles, the temptations, and trials come, we can stand firm on the solid rock of Jesus Christ and be overcomers! Let’s be the dads who can do all things because it is Christ who is strengthening us!

Today’s Verse of the Day comes to us from Philippians 4:13 and says:

‘I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.] ‘

Philippians 4:13

Let’s be the dads who make it because we:

  • choose to do what God is calling us to do and be who God is calling us to be!
  • put all our hope and trust in Jesus because He empowers us to be able to do all things He is calling us to do through His strength and power!
  • are obedient to God’s calling so that we can fulfill the purpose of being the dads God created and purposed for us to be finding that when Jesus is all that we have, we have everything that we need!
  • accept and receive the strength and the power to fulfill God’s purpose by being self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency, prepared for anything and equal to anything through Him with the strength and confident peace He gives us!

Today’s verse of the day provides us opportunities to be the dads God created, planned, and purposed for us to be! “By applying Philippians 4:13 in these ways, you can be a strong and loving father who leads his family by example and relies on God’s strength to overcome life’s challenges.”

Let’s grab hold of how we can make it by applying today’s verse of the day:

  • Trust in God’s strength: “As a dad, you face many challenges, but through Christ, you can overcome them. Trust in God’s strength to help you be the best dad you can be.”
  • Lead by example: “You can be a positive influence in your child’s life by leading by example. Show them how to rely on God’s strength in difficult times.”
  • Encourage your children: “Let your children know that they too can do all things through Christ who strengthens them. Encourage them to trust in God’s strength and abilities.”
  • Stay positive: “Even when faced with difficult situations, keep a positive attitude. Your children will learn from your example and develop a positive outlook on life.”
  • Pray together: “Pray with your children and teach them how to pray. This will help them develop a strong relationship with God.”
  • Read the Bible together: “Read the Bible with your children and teach them how to apply God’s word to their lives.”
  • Be patient: “Parenting can be challenging, but with God’s strength, you can be patient with your children and guide them in the right direction.”
  • Show love: “Love your children unconditionally, just as God loves us. Show them what it means to be loved and how to love others.”
  • Set boundaries: “Setting boundaries is an important part of parenting. Use God’s strength to set clear boundaries and enforce them with love.”
  • Be grateful: “Take time to be grateful for the blessings in your life. Remember that all good things come from God, and give thanks for His provision and protection.”
