Fallen Heroes: A Devotional for Dads Who Struggle With Porn Day 9
Today brings us to the close of a very hard yet important topic we need to discuss and be aware of as it not only affects dads but wives and kids as well. In the midst of it all, as we walk forward and as we receive victory through Jesus, we need to remember, to make sure that we give God the glory!
Let’s not forget that God’s Word can meet us right where we are at! Let’s turn to Him and His Word when we are struggling! Let’s lean in and look for scripture, devotionals, and others who can help us walk through the situation and come out the other side praising God for the victory!
So let’s remember how we got here and the introduction of this devotional that got us here:
This is a reading plan for dads who want to quit porn. It was written by Keith Rose, a content creator at Covenant Eyes. Fallen Heroes looks at Psalm 68 to re-orient your perspective and teach you how to break free. It challenges you to think about heroism in a completely different way.

Scripture from Today’s Devotional:
‘Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth, Sing praises to the Lord! Selah. To Him who rides in the highest heavens, the ancient heavens, Behold, He sends out His voice, a mighty and majestic voice. Ascribe strength to God; His majesty is over Israel And His strength is in the skies. O God, You are awesome and profoundly majestic from Your sanctuary; The God of Israel gives strength and power to His people. Blessed be God!’
Psalms 68:32-35
Going to God’s Word we can receive the message we need to hear! Going to God’s Word we can receive the sign we need to find! Going to God’s Word will never return void! Going to God’s Word will help cut through the noise and the distraction and get to the core of the matter!
Let’s be the dads who sing to God! Let’s be the dads who sing praises to the Lord! Let’s be the dads who sing and praise God who is in heaven! Let’s be the dads who make time to hear from and listen to His voice, a mighty and majestic voice! Let’s be the dads who ascribe strength to God! Let’s be the dads who ascribe majesty to God! Let’s be the dads who praise God because we know He is awesome and profoundly majestic! Let’s be the dads who praise God because He gives strength and power to His people! Let’s be the dads who bless God!
