How to take what God had you get started continue beyond you? We can’t do it alone or it will end with us. We can’t do it alone or we will be robbing others of God’s calling on their lives. We can’t do it alone or it won’t be able to become everything that God has planned, purposed, and desired for it to be. So today we need to ponder what growth, expansion, and more looks like. How we can best network. How we can bring others into the network.
As we consider this, let’s turn to today’s devotional and see what we can pick up and be the dads God desires and created us to be.
Scripture for Today’s Devotional:
God’s Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. God’s Word is a love letter from God to each of us. God’s Word is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. God’s Word corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. Everything in the Scriptures is God’s Word. All of it is useful for teaching and helping people and for correcting them and showing them how to live.
Let’s be the dads who lean in on God to better understand the plans and thoughts God has for us! Let’s be the dads who seek to accomplish God’s plans for us that includes peace and well-being, not disaster! Let’s be the dads who cling to God and His plans because they are good and to give us hope and a future! Let’s be the dads who don’t give up because we know that God can do all things! Let’s be the dads who don’t give up because God’s thoughts and purposes cannot be restrained! Let’s be the dads who seek counsel from God! Let’s be the dads who persevere because we know that God’s counsel stands forever! Let’s be the dads who pursue God because we know that His thoughts and plans of His heart will last through all generations! Let’s be the dads who trust God rather than leaning on our own understanding! Let’s be the dads who realize that we can come up with a lot of plans but that we need God to help lead us and guide our steps! Let’s be the dads who turn to God because we want to accomplish His plans and purposes more than our own!

He sent his one and only Son, Jesus, to build the bridge back to him. Jesus died a gruesome death on a cross, was buried, and rose again three days later. In his resurrection, he accomplished the defeat of death itself, the ultimate enemy of us all.”
