Just For Dads: Be A Positive Christian Role Model – Day 5

I found a devotional that was a bit longer and that sounded powerful as a message so that it could help us learn and become the dads God created and purposed for us to be. So I chose “Just For Dads: Be A Positive Christian Role Model” because, over 21 days, we will get to read and learn about how to be a positive Christian role model for our family! Over 21 days, we will get to learn about topics like: “self-discipline, love, patience, and much more“! This devotional will not only help us be the dads but it will also help us “in our day-to-day life to show our children what it truly means to be a role model and follower of Christ in every sense“.


Let’s check out our scriptures for today’s devotional:

  • Lamentations 3:22-23

‘Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. ‘

Lamentations 3:22-23

When do you turn to God’s Word? When do you meditate on God’s Word? Do you realize the benefits of spending time reading God’s Word? Do you realize when you have missed it? God’s Word is active and alive! Let’s choose to meditate on it daily! Let’s be the dads who get up and get ready in God’s Word so that we can step into our days strong and courageous!

Let’s be the dads who make time to receive God’s great love for us! Let’s be the dads who spend time basking in God’s great love for us! Let’s be the dads who receive God’s compassions that never fail! Let’s be the dads who live in the reality that God’s grace and mercy are new every morning! Let’s be the dads who receive God’s truth and walk in His faithfulness! Let’s be the dads who receive the example from God and choose to live as living examples of our Heavenly Father by loving our wives, our kids, and the people God brings into our day! Let’s be the dads who receive the example from God and choose to live as living examples of our Heavenly Father by being compassionate to our wives, kids, and the people God brings into our day! Let’s be the dads who receive the example from God and choose to live as living examples of our Heavenly Father by being faithful to our wives, kids, and people God brings into our lives!
