Be Faithful In The Little Things – Day 2

Be Faithful In The Little Things

Today we continue on the theme of faithfulness and have 1 more day before going offline, I searched for my next devotional and found this one from Vance K. Jackson titled Be Faithful In The Little Things through Bible.com plans. This devotional is only 3 days and is a powerful one for us to use in preparation for what is coming our way. This devotional will help us “pattern ourselves after Christ in every area of our life.” You can probably tell from the title but the direction of this devotional will be to be faithful as the intro puts it:

Be faithful over the little things. Be faithful over every assignment. Be faithful over the resources under your stewardship. Be faithful over your job. Be faithful over your business. Be faithful over your family. Be faithful over everything that God has blessed you with and He will enlarge your borders.

Be Faithful In The Little Things

Scripture from today’s devotional:

‘Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth. ‘

Proverbs 10:4

‘ “ ‘Well done, my good servant!’ his master replied. ‘Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities.’ ‘

Luke 19:17

‘Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do. ‘

James 1:8

God’s Word will meet you right where you are. God’s Word will teach us into how we are to go. God’s Word will lead and guide us down the road as a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path!

Let’s be the dads who are faithful and diligent in how we choose to live! Let’s be the dads who are faithful with our time and avoid lazy hands! Let’s be the dads who are faithful and trustworthy and so will hear one day “Well done, my good and faithful servant”! Let’s be the dads who believe and don’t doubt and become double-minded and unstable! Let’s be the dads who are faith-filled! Let’s be the dads who are diligent in all we do! Let’s be the dads who are good stewards of what we are given! Let’s be the dads who ask God for wisdom we need each step of each moment, knowing and trusting that He gives generously to all without finding fault!
